The Place of Sound, episode 23 by Helena Krobath

the Urban Imaginaries Project began with a guest-hosted episode of The Place of Sound by Vancouver-based sound artist, activist, and educator, Helena Krobath. The episode aired on CKCU (Carleton University campus radio) on Feb 21 at 6:30 pm, and includes Helena’s recent composition titled “Sea Readings or a Watery Grave”. The piece draws from field recordings captured in Vancouver and is a meditation on the ways that climate change will be brought to bear on the city.
